In the empty frypan, add another 2 tbsp of oil and add the minced garlic. Fry the garlic in lower medium heat so that they don’t turn brown. After 2 minutes, when the garlic starts spreading aroma, add the sliced mushroom. Fry both of them together until the color of the mushroom changes.

Do’s and Don’ts of Zucchini Recipe

Here are some dos and don’ts for you about this recipe that you should not avoid. These will make your recipe perfect. So, don’t neglect these parts.

  • This is not an oil-based recipe. So, please don’t add too much oil when stir-frying the garlic and mushrooms, as it can make the dish greasy.
  • While making the scrambled eggs, don’t over-fry them. We should keep them soft and not dry. We have another part for frying eggs and other ingredients.
  • Zucchini is a vegetable that we can eat raw. So, you should not cook the zucchini for too long, as it may become too mushy and lose its texture.

FAQs

To prepare this recipe, you may face some issues and some questions may come to your mind. I am trying to answer these questions here in short of making your recipe-making journey smooth.

Do I need to peel the zucchini before cooking?

No, the zucchini skin is thin and edible. It also adds texture and nutrients to the dish, so peeling is not necessary. But make sure you wash it very well with clean water.

How do I make the dish gluten-free?

To make this recipe gluten-free, ensure that the liquid starch and other ingredients like soy sauce (if used) are certified gluten-free.

Can I prepare this dish ahead of time?

You can prepare the ingredients (chopped zucchini, sliced mushrooms, minced garlic) ahead of time, but it’s best to stir-fry and scramble the eggs right before serving for the freshest taste and texture.

What can I use instead of liquid starch?

If you don’t have liquid starch, you can mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 100ml of water as a substitute. I hope both will serve similar things.
