If you have a grill thermometer, aim for a temperature of around 375°F to 400°F. Once the coals are ready, spread them evenly for direct grilling, or push them to one side if you’re planning to use indirect heat for slower cooking. Place the grill grate on top, and you’re ready to cook!
Step 4: Grill The Tenderloin

Place the marinated pork tenderloin on the preheated grill directly over the coals. Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes to develop a nice char, then move the tenderloin to an area of the grill with indirect heat.
Cover the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
Step 5: Cut And Serve

After 15 to 20 minutes of grilling, the tenderloin should be cooked. Once cooked, remove the tenderloin from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. It will allow the juices to be redistributed for a tender, flavorful result.
After resting, transfer the tenderloin to a chopping board and slice it. Arrange the slices on a serving plate, then drizzle the remaining half of the sauce made earlier. Your tenderloin is now ready to enjoy!

FAQs
Here are some questions and answers about the recipe. These answer will clear your confusion while trying this recipe at home.
Can I use a gas grill instead of a charcoal grill for this recipe?
Yes, you can use a gas grill instead of a coal grill. But coal grill has a special flavor that is absent in gas grills. There are many more issues in gas grills that we all know. If you are ready to face these issues, you can surely use a gas grill.
What can I substitute for brown sugar if I don’t have any?
I used brown sugar just because I have this one ready and it has some health benefits. This is not mandatory here. You may use other types of sugar instead of brown sugar.
What should I do if I don’t have a meat thermometer?
If you don’t have a meat thermometer, cut into the thickest part of the pork. It should be slightly pink with clear juices. Alternatively, press the tenderloin; if it feels firm but slightly springy, it’s likely done. The thermometer is not very costly. You can buy it only for a few dollars. It is a very common ingredient, so you should have this one.
