Chinese Slaw Recipe Do’s and Don’ts

This is a simple recipe. There are no different parts of this recipe. Also, this recipe has no cooking, frying, or boiling. But yet, there are some scopes to make mistakes. To avoid these mistakes, read the following dos and don’ts.

  • Bean sprouts are a crispy ingredient in this recipe. So, while mixing, ensure that they are not breaking. This is important.
  • Here all ingredients are green and raw. So, we have to avoid any kind of pressure on them. If you press items like cabbage, there will come some raw juice. It is not expected in the slaw recipe.
  • The hard parts of cabbage and carrots have different tastes. That’s why I am avoiding them for this recipe. But don’t throw them away. They are very good ingredients in Indian-style curry.
  • Try to select cabbage that is not very aged. Young and tender cabbage will work best. In case of slicing, keep the slice thin. This will ensure good coating with dressing.
