Do’s and Don’ts of The Recipe
This is a simple recipe, so there is nothing to alter. But yet, if you are planning to alter, then read the following points carefully.
- For fruit selection, always select dry fruits. Other types of raw fruits will destroy this recipe.
- Mixing is always important for this recipe. We have 2 or 3 mixing parts in the recipe, so make sure every mixing is done perfectly.
- While pouring the batter into the baking pan or adding fruits, always spread them evenly. Otherwise, some parts of the cake will remain blank or less tasty.
- Always wear oven gloves while putting or bringing out the baking pan from the oven. Don’t make any mistake here.

FAQs
I know some of my loving readers may face some issues while trying this recipe. To help them more about their potential questions in mind, I am answering some questions here.
Can I use regular wheat flour instead of water-milled rice flour for this recipe?
I would not recommend wheat flour for this recipe. Water-milled rice flour gives the dessert a light, fluffy texture that is essential for its traditional taste and consistency. Wheat flour will make the dessert denser and alter its texture significantly, resulting in a different final product.
What can I substitute for corn oil if I don’t have it on hand?
If you don’t have corn oil, you can substitute it with other neutral oils like vegetable oil, canola oil, or sunflower oil. These oils won’t affect the taste or texture of the dessert. But avoid using oils with strong flavors, such as olive oil, as they can overpower the delicate flavors of the dessert.
How can I make this dessert if I don’t have a microwave oven?
If you don’t have a microwave oven, you can use a conventional oven instead. In that case, make sure to monitor the dessert closely as baking times can vary slightly between different ovens. Use a toothpick or cake tester to check for doneness; the dessert should be firm and set when done.
My Last Words
I hope everything is discussed. If you are playing to try this recipe then be careful about the sugar we are using. Though it is brown sugar, it has some negative impact on some patients. So be careful.
