Welcome to Asian Food Style! I am Jiahe Kuang, an entrepreneur and a food enthusiast. I run a photography studio and an international trading company related to food products. With a passion for cooking, I love to explore deep-rooted culinary techniques in Chinese cuisine.
Cooking Chinese food isn’t a mere pastime for me but a soulful journey of exploring my heritage and expressing it with others. Over time, many traditional Chinese recipes have undergone notable changes and faded from our sight. In today’s busy lives, most people prefer shortcut methods. This disheartening trend has caused the gradual disappearance of many classic Chinese dishes.

Complex cooking methods, rarity of ingredients, or gradual changes in techniques have caused the extinction of many culinary gems in Chinese cuisine. I always had a wish to bring those authentic recipes passed down through generations back and present them to the world.
With this mission of rejuvenating traditional Chinese recipes, I traveled across China to taste different foods and learn to make them in the most authentic style. From bustling cities to serene villages, I tried to gather every story of tradition mixed with each bite of classic Chinese food.
I started this blog to preserve and share the culinary legacy. Through my blog, I will bring the most authentic and traditional Chinese recipes to the limelight and showcase the rich history of Chinese foods to the global audience. I want each recipe to be a testament to the exquisite culinary styles and techniques our predecessors perfected throughout centuries.
