Asian Pork Riblets Recipe Instructions

Now the instructions should be followed very seriously. Don’t follow anything too lightly because every step is serious.

Step 1: Soak The Pork Ribs To Wash

First of all, buy some Pork ribs from the market; you can either get fresh ones from the butcher or buy frozen ones from the supermarket. After getting home, you need to wash them properly to remove debris, germs, and blood.

So, to wash ribs, first, rinse them under tap water with rubbing so all the excess stubborn fats & blood get removed. After that, soak these ribs in a pot and pour moderately warm water into them; this step will help remove blood from deep within the ribs so that when you are eating them, no blood will seep out of the bones and ruin your taste.

According to scientific studies, some bacteria won’t even leave the meat, even after washing it multiple times, so to get rid of that, soak the pork ribs in salty water for a few minutes, which will do the work. However, you must not let the soaking water, which is now filled with bacteria, come into contact with anything. Finally, again, rinse the ribs after soaking.

During rinsing and washing, be careful not to use hot water because it will cause the loss of nutrients from the pork ribs; always use warm water for this purpose.

Step 2: Dry The Ribs With Kitchen Paper

So before cooking the ribs, you need to wrap them with kitchen paper, which helps absorb the pork’s surface moisture. To do this, put a layer of high-quality paper towel on a dish and place all the ribs equidistant from each other on the tissue paper.

Now, put another piece of tissue paper from above and pat the ribs to dry them out. Drying the ribs is very important because it prevents them from browning. It is a simple but very important step for cooking ribs perfectly.

Step 3: Fry Ribs Properly

Now it is time to fry. Take a frypan and add 3 or 4 teaspoons of cooking oil. Heat the oil on a medium flame till it starts sprinkling. Once the oil is sparkling, put the ribs one by one with the help of pliers. While frying, you should continually shake the porks and press them slightly; it will help to fry fast. Fry the ribs until their color turns yellow.

It is best to cook them on a medium flame because a high flame will burn them from the surface while their inside will still be uncooked.

Step 4: Brew Tea Leaves

Let’s prepare the tea leaves. Take a handful of dry tea leaves in a small mixing bowl with 3 cups of the hot water. Keep it for 15 minutes until they are brewed. The water must be as hot as possible.

After 15 minutes, strain the brewed leaves and extract the solution in a separate glass or cup. Don’t throw the leaves away; store the leaves for letter use.

Step 5: Cook the Pork Ribs

Now, it’s time to cook the ribs and make some gravy paster. Put the fried ribs in an enamel pot with brewed tea solution. Then add handful of rock sugar, 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of light soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce. After adding everything, turn the flame to high and allow it to boil.

Once everything boiled, turn the pot to low heat and cover it with a lid for simmering for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, if the solution is still watery, remove the lid and let the water evaporate until you see a dense paste of ingredients. Finally, switch off the flame and put the pot aside.

Step 6: Make the Glaze

This is a part of making a glaze. First of all, take a pan and add three tablespoons of olive oil to it. Place the pan on the stove on low flame. When the oil is boiling, add the reserved tea leaves to the pan and fry the leaves in the oil until the aroma comes out.

Step 7: Garnish & Serve the Ribs

This is a serving part with garnish. First, take the pork ribs out of the pot on a dry plate and spread the fried tea leaves over them. Then pour the previously made sauce on the ribs. The ribs are ready to eat. But you may add some garnish over it. You may use different ingredients according to your flavor or taste or the client’s demand.
